This reflection nebula is located in the constellation Cepheus. This nebula is an example of a Bok globule, a cloud of cold, dense material, usually the site of multiple star formation. Data from the observation bundle. Lum - 16 x 600s; Red - 16 x 600s; Green - 14 x 600s; Blue - 16 x 600s.

Hello Ken,
Thank you for enquiring upon the status of the RC700 scope in Spain.
Finding out that it won't be back for a while while the mount is repaired, I've just been looking at the observation bundles available for when it had a CCD camera fitted, SPA-2-CCD. There's a lot of data there to make good use of while we wait. I see that you have already done that with this splendid image you've posted. Available for a few credits as well.

You are welcome, Ray. This was one of the targets that was scheduled for the SPA-2-CMOS scope. So decided to go with the CCD version. Hope it's not too long before it returns. Ken
