Vela SNR HOO+RGB Mosaic
This image is a mosaic of the Supernova Remnant region in the constellation of Vela. It contains data from two telescopes (CHI-5 and AUS-2), and both narrowband and broadband filter sets were used.
Narrowband filters were useful in helping to reveal the faint nebulosity in this region, while broadband filters were used to preserve the natural star color and give the image a more natural look.
Ha: 36x300s and 10x450s
OIII: 36x300s and 15x450s
R: 6x300s and 5x240s
G: 6x300s and 5x240s
B: 6x300s and 4x240s
Total Integration Time: 11hrs33min.
