The One-Click Observation for the September 2023 Contest is the RUNNING MAN NEBULA, obtained with CHI-1-CMOS in the LRGB filter set.

Beginner Tier
Prize: 25 credits
Comment from the judges: Lucian Nicu created our winning image of the running man nebula with good colour processing and start management. The image could do with some extra contrast to improve the nebulosity
Expert Tier
Prize: 50 credits
Comment from the judges: Our winning one-click expert contest image belongs to Grigory Vidishev who processed the nebulosity well with good colour management and contrast of the dark and light parts of the nebula. Some star colour adjustments would add a nice finishing touch to this image
🏆 Observation Bundle Contest Winners 🏆
The Observation Bundle for the September 2023 Contest is the LDN 1667 obtained with AUS-2-CCD in the HSO filter set. It contains 8 One-Click Observations corresponding to more than 7 hours of total exposure time.

Comment from the judges: Judith Prana processed this LDN 1667 with a custom SHO colour palette. This produced nice details to the nebulosity with well controlled stars. With this data, extracting and processing the star colour separately would benefit this image.
Expert Tier
Prize: 100 credits
Comment from the judges: Alan Daly produced our winning expert bundle image of LDN 1667, the colour was well processed. Our only feedback would be that the data seems over stretched, however lots of good work was done with this image.
