A 2H pencil
NGC 2736, the pencil nebula, in HOO. This image was quite hard work; there was a bit of a gradient in the background, but at the same time the entire field is full of faint nebulosity that i hoped to preserve, in spite of its rather low signal:noise Trying to take out the gradient while preserving the background took quite a lot of fiddling, and the image could really do with quite a bit more integration. Maybe next season :)
