The Carina Nebula
This is an image of the Carina Nebula. It is a complex of bright and dark nebula about 8,500 light years away in the constellation Carina. It is the home of many star clusters including Trumpler 14 and 16. Trumpler 16 contains WR 25, the most luminous star in the Milky Way. It is one of the largest nebulae in the night sky measuring over four times the size of the Orion Nebula.
