The Cat's Paw Nebula
This is an image of NGC 6334, also known as the Cat’s Paw Nebula. It is an emission nebula and star forming region about 5,500 light years away in the constellation Scorpius. Many stars up to 10 times the mass of our sun have been born there is the past few million years.
