Cosmic Question Mark NGC 7822 and SNR Abell 85

NGC 7822 is a young star forming complex in the constellation of
Cepheus. The complex is believed to be 2900 light years away from Earth
with the younger components aged no more than a few million years. The
complex also includes one of the hottest stars discovered within 1 kilo
parsec (~3200 ly) of the Sun, namely BD+66 1673, which is an eclipsing
binary system consisting of an O5V that exhibits a surface temperature
of nearly 45,000 K and a luminosity about 100,000 times that of the Sun.
The star is one of the primary sources illuminating the nebula and
shaping the complex's famed pillars of creation-type formations the
elephant trunks.

Abell 85 is a very faint Supernova Remnant in the constellation of
Cassiopeia. It is located approximately 9780 light years away, spans
approx 98 light years in diameter and is thought to be around 10,000
years old.

Thats excellent! I've never seen the ? extended to Abell 85. I always like widefields that show targets that are usually imaged alone in the same field - it rather puts them more into context.

Thank you David! Yes I agree, there are many data sets in the TL archive that overlap (even though I'm fairly certain it's not intentional in a lot of cases). Thanks to Jarmo for making his astromosaic planner, its easy to see what potential there is for making mosaics out of various sets.
