The Horsehead Nebula - SHO
This is an image of the Horsehead nebula captured and processed in the SHO narrowband palette. It is about 1,500 light years away in the constellation Orion. The nebula is located just to the south of Alnitak, the easternmost star of Orion's Belt, and is part of the much larger Orion molecular cloud complex.
