IC 59 and IC 63 in HOO
IC 59 is a faint reflection nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia, near the bright star Gamma Cassiopeiae (γ Cas). It is part of a pair of nebulae, with its companion being IC 63, and both are often studied together due to their proximity to γ Cas, γ Cas is a variable star and one of the primary contributors to the illumination of IC 59 and IC 63.
