M20 Widefield in SHO-RGB
This is an image of the area surrounding M20, which can be seen at the lower left of the image. In addition M8 can be seen at the top left and NGC 6559, IC 4685, IC 1274 and IC 1275 can be seen on the middle right of the image. This nebula complex is about 4,000 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius. This image is a blending of SHO narrowband and RGB data sets.
