NGC 1398 (Ha LRGB)
NGC 1398 is a striking barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Fornax, approximately 65 million light-years away from Earth. Approximately 135,000 light-years, slightly larger than the Milky Way. The bar is prominent and likely contributes to the galaxy's structure by funnelling gas and dust into the central region, possibly fuelling star formation or the growth of a central supermassive black hole.
