Orion's Belt and Sword in Hydrogen Alpha
Orion's Belt and Sword in Hydrogen Alpha
This two-panel mosaic of Orion in Hydrogen-Alpha (created from only 20 minutes of integration time) showcases the spectacular and complex detail of this beautiful region.
I'm looking forward to collecting additional images from this series, to help improve detail and knockback noise in the darker areas, and also to see the rich colours of the hydrogen and dust clouds, and the brilliant blue stars of the belt.
