Sh2-311 (RCW16) Region SHO
with neighboring nebulae and open clusters. Although I have been experimenting with the Foraxx palette lately, here I reverted to my previous technique to bring out the faint clouds. While both techniques use PixelMath to combine color channels, Foraxx uses exponential formulas and mine uses linear combinations. Foraxx seems to create great color contrast in bright areas, while suppressing faint objects.
