Thor's Helmet in SHO
From the newly listed pro datasets. Ngc 2359 aka Thor's Helmet, is an emission nebula located in Canis Major surrounded by a dense Hii region. It contains a central bright Wolf-Rayet star and is best viewed with long focal length telescopes. It is considered to be an intermediate target among astrophotographers for its faint nebulous regions surrounding the core and the careful guiding and exposure lengths required to capture this target.
