The One-Click Contest

The One-Click Observation for the May 2022 Contest is the Lagoon Nebula (also known as M 8) obtained with CHI-2 in the HSO filter set.

This star-forming cloud of interstellar gas is located in the constellation Sagittarius and its apparent magnitude of 6 makes it faintly visible to the naked eye in dark skies.

To qualify for the contest, remember to tag the picture you upload with #OneClickContestMay22 and either #Expert or #Beginner (check this page to find out your skill level).

The winners of the best picture in the One-Click Contest will receive:

The Bundle Contest

The Observation Bundle for May 2022 Contest is the Andromeda Galaxy (also known as M31) obtained with SPA-1 in the LRGB filter set. It contains 16 One-Click Observations corresponding to more than 21 hours of total exposure time.

We have also collected some H-alpha data, that you might use together with the LRGB data to highlight HII regions of star formation.

Hi, is it possible to participate in one of the categories with two versions of the image at the same time?
E.g .: Bicolor and SHO or SHO and Starless, etc ...
