The One-Click Contest

The One-Click Observation for the September 2022 Contest is the Comet C2017 K2 & IC 4592 obtained with AUS-2 in the LRGB filter set.

This is a unique field as it features the comet C2017 K2 passing through the reflection nebula IC 4592 on 19 August 2022.

To qualify for the contest, remember to tag the picture you upload with #OneClickContestSep22 and either #Expert or #Beginner (check this page to find out your skill level).

The winners of the best picture in the One-Click Contest will receive:

  • 25 credits prize (value $38) in the Beginner tier
  • 50 credits prize (value $76) in the Expert tier

The Bundle Contest

The Observation Bundle for September 2022 Contest is the Black Eye Galaxy, obtained with SPA-2 in the LRGB filter set. It contains 5 One-Click Observations corresponding to more than 6 hours of total exposure time.

The Black Eye Galaxy (also called Sleeping Beauty Galaxy or Evil Eye Galaxy and designated Messier 64, M64, or NGC 4826) is a relatively isolated spiral galaxy 17 million light-years away in the mildly northern constellation of Coma Berenices.

The winners of the best picture in the Bundle Contest will receive:
