M 31 | Andromeda Galaxy

The image of M31, the Andromeda Galaxy, was obtained through the Telescope Live Network using an HaLRGB palette. Today, after almost a week after the HaOIII Andromeda was published, it seems just a "traditional" image. It is yet the best I could process so far. I am waiting for the clouds to part from Northern Italy, hoping for some imaging sessions with my own equipment.
The HaLRGB technique creates a high-resolution and detailed image. I tried to work mainly on the bright central region of the galaxy, also known as the nucleus, which is visible, as well as the galaxy's spiral arms, which are composed of young stars and gas clouds. The blue regions in the image represent areas of intense star formation, while the red regions indicate the presence of hydrogen gas. The galaxy's halo, composed of older, reddish stars, can also be seen. Additionally, the image may reveal faint features such as the galaxy's outer disk and any companion galaxy that may be present in the field of view.
