Orion Mosaic
Orion Mosaic
In this picture, I merged the Orion and Horsehead bundle datasets to create a mosaic showing the core of the Orion Constellation. Data was acquired in Spain and Australia with the same equipment. I tried to enhance the colors of M42 and balanced the highlights to have details in its core. I also tried to show the faint Ha nebulosity around the two main subjects, finding a sweet spot for it not to be distracting.
Thanks to Adam Block! I used some of the techniques clearly explained in his tutorials (SPCC, DBE, BXt).
