Today I wanted to talk about going after targets with multiple objects in them. Normally when people think of doing that they generally think of galaxies, but there are plenty of other things to go after that have multiple objects in them!

You may have noticed a that we have had some good multiple object One Click Observations lately. That is because I will sometimes comb through images either I have taken or ones on Astrobin, Cloudy Nights, or other places. I will also go through Telescopius and look for things that catch my eye too.

Those methods are the ones that lead me to suggest some of them lately that are like that. Some are still in process such as the IC 1295 and NGC 6712 ones, and some have completed their runs, such as the one containing NGC 6522 and NGC 6528, and the one with M46, M47, NGC 2423, NGC 2425, NGC 2438, PK231+04.1, and OH231.84+4.22 (it is there but you have to know where it is and look pretty hard).

Since we have the ability to suggest new observations it would be awesome if we could make suggestions that have multiple interesting things in them. You can even do those as Advanced Requests too! Of course you can also attempt them with your own equipment. Think about it, when you have a shot that gives you multiple things to explore isn't it visually more pleasing? I think so.
