Bodes Area With IFN
This is from the 1 click bundle. It has been processed to showcase the IFN present around these two beautiful galaxies. The data is very disappointing because there is some very severe vignetting to the right hand side of the image meaning that I had to crop the image quite significantly. Even at the crop, the problem can still be seen at top and bottom right and is very evident in revision 2 which is the uncropped version.
I am not 100% sure what has caused the vignette but it was evident, to varying degrees in all subs and all filters. The HA subs showed a full circle anomaly. It is perhaps an internal reflection or possibly a flats calibration error. Whatever, it is extremely disappointing that the data from this new CMOS set up is, in fact, very poor.
I note that since I downloaded this data there have been another 15 data observations (10 hours) added to this bundle but I will not use credits to get this data as i have no confidence that it will be any better.

Hello David, first of all, congratulations on the beautiful image, the IFN are very good to see. I'm sorry you had to crop the image because of the vignetting problem, we're working to fix this issue as soon as possible so we can take advantage of the full field of view of the tak. Thanks, Ernesto.
