IC2944, Running Chicken Nebula

This LRGB image utilized RGB data from Tragoolchitr Jittasaiypan (2017, Takahashi FSQ106, SBIG STX 16803), 3 x 300-sec exposures for each filter. The luminance layer was comprised of narrowband data from Telescope.live (https://telescope.live/home, 2024, Takahashi FSQ 106ED, f3.6, QHY600M Pro). The data included a total of 4 x 300-sec exposures for each filter (Ha, SII, and OIII ). The narrowband images were combined using Pixinsight with no rejection. The RGB and the luminance from the narrowband images were registered and combined as nonlinear starless images. Nonoverlapping areas, which did not include the nebula, were processed with Generative fill in Photoshop. The RGB stars were then added to the resulting image.
