NGC 253

NGC 253 is also called the Silver Coin galaxy. However, since the galaxy displays a rich RGB colour palette, the post-processing results look quite different from a nickel coin! The CHI-1 calibrated frames were of exceptionnaly high quality. That made the post-processing up to LRGB blending quite straighforward. The real challenge was to find a pleasant balance between the blue, orange/red and yellow colours. In the end, I believe it is a matter of personal taste.
