NGC1999

NGC1999 is a striking nebular complex in the southwest sector of Orion. Included with it are a host of Herbig-Haro objects. Easily recognized are HH1, HH2, HH34, HH130, HH222 (the Waterfall nebula), and HH401 (see https://astrodrudis.com/ngc-1999/ for an HH labeled image). This starless version is a classic Ha grayscale monochrome.
