RCW 113 SHO AUS-2
RCW 113 SHO AUS-2
RCW 113 is also known as Gum 55. It is a very large region of diffuse nebulosity that surrounds the core ionizing cluster NGC 6231. Also, contained within this field of view is the Prawn Nebula, The Wolfed Nebula, and bright-rimmed cometary globule SFO 82. Most of the objects in RCW 113 lie at a distance from Earth between 5,300-6,000 light-years.
The image has a total exposure time of 5 hours, with each sub @600s. I used the newest version of WBPP to calibrate and register the RAW subs, Normalized Scale Gradient, and then drizzled the registered files to get better star quality. I also horizontally mirrored the image.
Anyway, hope ya like it!
