RCW85

RCW85 is an emission nebula that lies hidden in plain sight midway between Alpha and Beta Centauri. It is depicted here in an HST palette. A year and a half ago, when I first imaged the essentially unknown nebula with the scope we call Chi-4 (https://www.astrobin.com/d2r6vm/), there were only two images of it that I could find on the internet. Now there are a number, including the newest versions from Chi-1 CMOS. I am pleased with its increasing popularity.
