A Happy Accident
Oops! I picked the wrong scope. I was trying to get Barnard's Loop, which of course is a wide-field object.
Instead, I got this skewed perspective of the Orionis area with the Horsehead and Flame Nebulae down in the right-hand corner and M42 sitting in the upper right.
It does make for an interesting composition with some feel for the nebulosity.
Looks like the only way to go wider on these scopes is with a mosaic.

And a good catch of the difficult object Sh2-278 in the upper left corner!
Thanks! I'll have to target that specifically with CHI-1
