NGC 2516 and surrounding region
NGC 2516, the "Southern Beehive," is a bright open cluster in Carina roughly the size of the full moon.At 1,300 light-years away, its hundreds of stars, ranging in brightness and color including two red giants and three challenging double stars (HJ 4027, HJ 4031, and I 29).
