Certainly an interesting galaxy in Crater and an even more interesting challenge to process. Captured on the 1 metre scope in Chile using 20 minute exposures. Image best viewed zoomed out and for just a short time.
As the scope was on an Alt-az mount the long exposure times resulted in the stars having more than the normal number of diffraction spikes. Using just a small subset of RGB subs for the stars, where the angle of the spikes closely aligned, at least cured the number of spikes.
