Stacking Telescope Live Data
Affinity photo has the ability to load and stack Telescope Live data from multiple one-click observations. James will show you how using the file groups feature in the astrophotography stack tool, you can load multiple one-click observations of the same target acquired over several nights and improve your astrophotography stack. James will also cover some essential colour calibration once you have your master frames.

RCW 113 Macro Processing
James Ritson from Affinity Photo has created a set of macros dedicated to astrophotography for Affinity Photo. These macros use only the tools that are available in Affinity Photo. However, they are bundled and configured in a way that is specific to astrophotography and allow you to perform processes on your photos that would otherwise be complicated and time-consuming. James will show you the macros that are available with his macro set and, through the processing of the RCW 113 dataset, how and when they can be applied.
June 2023 Contest - Gradients around M51
For the contest this month, Warren Keller is taking a look at the background gradients that surround M51 and give you a couple of tips on how to correct these with Pixinsight. He will also show you how to use GraXpert to correct these gradients if you are using other softwares for processing.

NEW RELEASE - How to Use Affinity Photo’s New Linear Fit Tool for Better Brightness Equalisation
When stacking monochrome astrophotography you can often end up with a variance in brightness between your master frames. Affinity Photo have developed a Linear Fit tool which can help to balance these differences in brightness before you proceed with any further post-processing. James Ritson from Affinity will show you how to use this tool and how it makes a difference to your final image.
